Famitsu Digital Estimates (Sep 25th - Oct 29th)

Digital Estimates for October

Usually 4 to 5 weeks after the month is over, Famitsu will have a Top 30 for that month in their newest issue, this Top 30, unlike the ones published on their website, it's only released in print form, and, what we care about, it actually contains their tracked retail software sales as well as some digital estimates.

How do they get these estimates? By looking at the weekly rankings of online stores, online polls, and probably just what they guess.

Obviously this data shouldn't be take as a hard truth as Famitsu has been wrong before, however it is data worth taking into account given the rise of digital media so it shouldn't be completely dissmised either.

This month marks 4 years since Famitsu has been releasing these estimates, so according to them, these are the best selling digital games in Japan, goes without saying LTD for many of these games is incomplete.
